Conroy Training

Greg Conroy, RN

We welcome Greg and his company Conroy Training to Joncris Sentinel Services. Joncris, through an agreement, will be taking on an administrative role as an RTO to enable Greg to continue offering his clients nationally accredited training.

With over 22 years involvement with the Qld Ambulance Service (QAS) and the Qld Fire Service (QFRS), Greg has a wealth of experience in emergency service operations and road accident rescue.

In 1986, after two years as an auxiliary with the Caboolture Auxiliary Fire Team, they trained and won the 1986 South East Qld, Auxiliary Fire Fighting Championships. Greg spent another two years as a full time fireman.

Greg joined the Queensland Ambulance Service in 1990, successfully completing the Associate Diploma in Applied Science (Ambulance) becoming an Advanced Care Paramedic. In 2002, Greg completed his Bachelor of Nursing becoming a Registered Nurse.

He diligently worked on a casual basis in public and private hospitals while also continuing to work on-road with the QAS up until 2005 when he took a position with the QAS as an Industrial Paramedic. This position entailed working on various coal mines throughout Central Qld providing emergency pre-hospital care, first aid training ranging from Basic First Aid through to Advanced Resuscitation and Occupational First Aid, ERT Training, (emergency response team) RAR training, (road accident rescue), AED Training (automatic external defibrillation), Pain Management Training (using Oxygen and Entonox) and Low Voltage Rescue and Re-certification.
