John Brady has decided to retire and rightfully enjoy life. He has turned the running of the business over to Michael but has promised to keep doing some things to "keep my brain from turning to mush". He will continue to provide back up assistance with the Sentinel System, which he developed, and provide mentoring to those wishing to prepare themselves for Oral examinations.
He has also been nominated by the Mine Managers Association of Australia for the Merv Harris Award, an award for technical excellence in the mining industry.
