John and Christine Brady operate a small yet successful Equine Nursery at Cawarral in Central Queensland. Our philosophy is based on the attention to detail necessary to breed and present a horse that is calm and at one with human interaction.

“Reducing the cost of feed”
Recently John and Christine purchased a system through FODDERsolutions that produces a lush high protein green feed in six days at a cost well below what they have been paying for bales of lucerne. Recently John and Christine; with the help of Debbie Brown and Angela Webber expanded the Nursery to include Anglo Arabians.
What we offer at J4S is:
Breeding:
From servicing by the Champion Arabian stallion Markir, to foaling down.
- Preparing and monitoring Brood mares for servicing by Markir, Amir of Hearts or outside stallion.
- Preparing and monitoring Brood mares at foaling time.
- Imprinting foals at birth.
- An experienced Vet is on call 24 hours a day. We also have the necesary experience in treating injuries that horses have a tendency to pick up.
- Giving foals a natural start to their education.
- Weaning and ongoing education.
Yearling Preparation
- Strict attention to detail in the education and nutritional needs of the young horse.
- Preparing and Showing our yearlings or outside yearlings for sale.
